An Agreement between the Republic of Cyprus and the Kingdom of Denmark for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to taxes on income, was signed on 11.10.2010 in Copenhagen.
The document was signed by Cyprus’s Ambassador to Denmark, George C. Kasoulides, and Denmark’s Tax Minister, Troels Lund Poulsen
According to an official announcement, the new Agreement will contribute greatly to the further development of trade and economic relations between Cyprus and the Kingdom of Denmark.
The new treaty, will take effect when it has been ratified by both countries. Until then the existing treaty, which dates back to 26.05.1981, will continue in effect.
